As you can tell, it’s been a pretty long time since I posted or updated this website. Lots of things have changed. My husband and I both got jobs teaching at Indiana University, so we left our home in southern Illinois and moved to Bloomington. I’m almost finished with my second poetry collection, which will be making the contest and open reading rounds come fall. And I just started work on a collection of essays, kind of a hybrid memoir/craft project. I’ve got an upcoming residency in the north Georgia mountains where I hope to get a lot of this work done, and in the meantime, we’ve all been enjoying organic CSA farm shares and local arts and crafts fairs and all the great things this small, funky town has to offer.
The website will be overhauled soon, so check back. I’ll be updating the readings links to include the memorial reading of Jake Adam York’s Abide, which will be happening on October 16th at Auburn University, and I’ll be adding links to readings and recordings as soon as I figure out how to navigate this dashboard.
